Over the weekend, a family's porch was visited by a three-legged bear that some Floridians refer to as Tripod.
On Sunday, Joseph Diglio, 13, was watching TV when his dog Bruno's barking informed him that there was something outside.
Diglio recorded everything on video.
"Oh my God. I've never been this close to a bear before, "In the video, Diglio can be heard stating. "Oh my God, there's a bear on our patio."
When NBC6 affiliate WESH initially covered the event, they went to Diglio's house and saw a sizable hole the bear had put in the porch screen.

After entering, according to Diglio, the bear walked to the outside fridge and took two mangoes and strawberry White Claws.
Although it seemed kind of great that the bear could open the fridge, Diglio and his family were worried about it.
Diglio said to WESH, "After I watched him open the fridge, I was frightened that he may open the doors to like the houses." "Right now, I feel like locking every door. Oh, oh, God. I need to go lock my dog out."
In the end, Bruno's bark drove the bear away, and Diglio claimed that the experience was simply "part of living where we live honestly."
This was the second time a bear had gotten through their patio screen, according to Diglio.
