Plane crash in Busse Woods: No injuries after craft goes down near O'Hare, Elk Grove Village PD says

According to Elk Grove Village police, a tiny plane crashed in Busse Woods near O'Hare on Friday night.

The pilot was able to escape, according to the police, and the aircraft was a corporate Beechcraft King Air 200. The cause of the plane accident was not immediately understood.

According to a statement from the Federal Aviation Administration, the crash occurred around 7:15 p.m. According to the FAA, there was just a pilot on board.

There were no reported injuries.

According to Chicago fire officials, the aircraft made a landing near Busse Woods Grove, three miles west of O'Hare Airport.

Elk Grove Village fire and police are aiding, and the Cook County Forest Preserve Police Department is in charge of the investigation and reaction.

The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) will be in charge of the investigation along with the FAA.
