A few security adjustments were made at Iowa State after it was revealed that a number of presidential contenders will attend the Cy-Hawk duel on Saturday.
The game will be attended by Vivek Ramaswamy, Donald Trump, Ron Desantis, and Asa Hutchinson, the former governors of Arkansas and Florida.
Michael Newton, the chief of police at Iowa State, advised the public not to be alarmed if they noticed increased security because this is because the university has hired additional police officers because of the large number of dignitaries scheduled to attend.
According to Newton, there might be a lot of traffic, much like each Cy-Hawk match.
"All we need to do is exercise a little patience and recognize that there can be some delays. With our security plans, we're working incredibly hard to reduce those delays as much as we can, added Newton.
Newton recommended fans get to the Iowa-Iowa State game earlier due to increased traffic and the new electronic ticketing system.
